Backend Python work using third party integrations libraries. SQL Alchemy, Flask, Docker, Stripe, Sendgrid, and similar.
Vice Principal
The Vice Principal is a key leadership role responsible for overseeing project scoping, library selection, developer management, quality checks, and cloud deployment within our MVP software development company. Collaborating closely with the Principal, the Vice Principal will participate in an apprenticeship with William, leveraging his expertise to drive the company's technical vision forward.
Responsibilities:
- Scoping Requirements: Collaborate with stakeholders to define project objectives, deliverables, and requirements. Analyze technical needs to align projects with company goals.
- Library Selection: Evaluate libraries, frameworks, and technologies for optimal project fit. Make informed decisions considering scalability, maintainability, and compatibility.
- Developer Management: Lead and mentor developers, fostering a collaborative work environment. Provide guidance, support, and performance feedback.
- Quality Assurance: Establish and enforce quality control processes, including testing strategies and code reviews, to ensure high-quality software solutions.
- Cloud Deployment: Oversee the deployment of software applications to cloud platforms. Ensure efficient resource utilization, scalability, and system robustness.
- Technical Collaboration with William: Work closely with the Principal in an apprenticeship, sharing insights and contributing to the company's technical vision and strategy.
Requirements:
- Education: Pursuing Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field. Relevant certifications are a plus.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of software development methodologies, tools, and languages. Experience with cloud platforms is desirable.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage software development teams. Excellent communication skills.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to assess project requirements and propose effective solutions.
- Quality Orientation: Meticulous approach to ensure software quality through testing and quality control processes.
- Adaptability: Demonstrated ability to thrive in a dynamic environment, embracing new technologies, industry trends, and evolving client requirements.
